On October 31st, Dr. Kathryn Ross took part in the Early Career Lightning Talks competition at Obesity Week, the joint annual meeting of The Obesity Society and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. For this competition, 12 top-scoring abstracts submitted by early career researchers were selected. Researchers were invited to present a three-minute “lightning talk” during a special session at Obesity Week, which were judged by a panel. Dr. Ross presented her talk “Identification and Characterization of the Pattern of Weight Regain in Adults,” which was awarded first place by the panel of judges.
