Brittney Dixon invited to the Rising Stars in Health-Related Sciences Symposium

Brittney Dixon, MPH, a public health Ph.D. student in the HPL lab, was accepted into the Rising Stars in Health-Related Sciences symposium to be held July 16-18 in Bloomington, Indiana. This symposium is hosted by David B. Allison, Ph.D., dean of the Indiana University School of Public Health, along with Michelle Cardel, Ph.D., M.S., R.D., from the University of Florida. The symposium will focus on networking, science, mentoring, and career development for underrepresented minority scholars in health-related sciences. Brittney was awarded up to $1,500 in costs to attend this symposium.
